REGLAN (METOCLOPRAMIDE) is a gastrointestinal stimulant used to treat nausea, vomiting, heartburn, or prolonged fullness after meals in patients with diabetes. REGLAN (METOCLOPRAMIDE) is also used to treat gastroesophageal reflux and other conditions as determined by your doctor.
REGLAN side effects, that may go away during treatment, include drowsiness, dizziness, restlessness, fatigue, or diarrhea. If REGLAN side effects continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience REGLAN side effects like uncontrollable movements of face, eyes, arms, legs, tongue, mouth, or jaw. If you notice other REGLAN side effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. TAKE THIS MEDICINE 30 MINUTES before meals unless directed otherwise by your doctor. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
