Sporanox (Itraconazole) is an antifungal agent used to treat fungal infections. Use exactly Sporanox (Itraconazole) as directed by your doctor. TAKE Sporanox (Itraconazole) with food. DO NOT TAKE THIS Sporanox(Itraconazole) with antacids or within 2 hours of taking an antacid. STORE Sporanox (Itraconazole) at room temperature in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light. TO CLEAR UP YOUR INFECTION COMPLETELY, continue taking Sporanox (Itraconazole) for the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not miss any doses of Sporanox (Itraconazole). IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF Sporanox (Itraconazole), take Sporanox (Itraconazole) as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose of Sporanox (Itraconazole), skip the missed dose o Sporanox (Itraconazole) and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses of Sporanox (Itraconazole) at once.
Sporanox side effects that may occur while SPORANOX include headache, sinus infection, nausea, vomiting, gas, diarrhea, dizziness, rash, and itching. If Sporanox side effects continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY if you experience Sporanox side effects like trouble in breathing, swelling of the feet, unusual tiredness, loss of appetite, persistent nausea or vomiting, yellow discoloration of skin, dark urine, pale stools, or tingling or numbness of the hands/feet. If you notice other Sporanox side effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
